Richard is one of the UK’s leading coachs, mentors and consultants helping brands and entrepreneurs awaken to their innate superpowers and purpose. He is an intuitive visionary, fascinated by human potential and the rise of global consciousness. Years of ‘high flying success’ in the corporate world were followed by a life-changing spiritual awakening experience, which vividly revealed to him that everyone has their own unique soul blueprint — a life purpose. In other words, a unique mission to serve the world, based on our individual life stories gifts and talents.
Richard has since held senior management positions for international brands, including Just Eat (Global Brand Director), O2 (Head of Marketing Communications) and British Airways (Head of Advertising). He led these companies to phenomenal success, by unleashing their authentic brand vision. Richard masterminded hundreds of award-winning TV advertising campaigns over the years, where he won over 120 awards for best brand, strategy, campaign, creativity and marketing effectiveness.
Having grown up on a farm, Richard is an avid dog lover (particularly labradors) and has a deep appreciation of nature, where he loves to walk, meditate and connect with Life. Richard is fascinated by political election campaigns and intriguingly between 2011-13 he was leader of a registered political party in the UK, the Don’t Cook Party, as part of the first ever brand to enter a candidate in a UK Parliamentary Election.
Inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger since a child, Richard is is deeply passionate about fitness, bodybuilding and nutrition. Richard incorporates his lifelong interest in health and bodybuilding into his coaching with VIP clients, so much so that he has been, by some, coined with the nickname, The Murfilator.
Richard was near-paralysed for 3 months by a rare spinal infection. He used his own ‘mind medicine’ The Big Life Blueprint, to heal himself and against all odds, fully recover. Having lost 14 kgs of muscle in 3 months alone, Richard was able to regain all of it back again 7 months after his recovery.

During my time at O2 (2002-2010), I was instrumental for the brand to win over 100 marketing, advertising and brand strategy awards.
When he joined, Just Eat (now valued at $10 billion) was a struggling start-up in the North of England. With Richard’s bold, clear vision and creativity, the brand became iconic, beating the London Olympic Games for the Best Brand Vision award. In just 3 years, it became a loved household brand in the UK. It’s value soared by 50X from £30m to £1.6bn and then floated on the London Exchange as a FTSE100 super-brand.
In addition to his corporate past, Richard has also mentored CEOs, entrepreneurs and global leaders, before suffering from burnout in 2013, leading to a wake-up call. This was followed by an unrelenting quest for personal growth and self realisation, where he was shown his new life purpose. He realised his superpower is helping people reinvent themselves. The Big Life was then born, with the higher mission of raising the consciousness of the planet — where everyone lives from their purpose.
Richard’s clients now refer to him as “The Super Coach”. He’s not just a highly-experienced brand consultant, but a big-hearted entrepreneur, a fitness coach, a business mentor and life catalyst. His gift is to intuitively draw out others’ gifts, talents and passions, in order to help them create a lucrative life, filled with purpose and realised dreams… Aka, The Big Life.
